Argentinean painter Alejandro Rosemberg received a six-page spread in The Artist's Magazine when he received first place in the magazine's annual art competition. Rosemberg's ability to create classical-style paintings infused with a sense of air and light rightfully earned him the prize in this contest. Well done, Alejandro!
It has been an incredibly successful couple of years for San Francisco-based artist Jeremy Mann, both in galleries and in print. In 2012, Mann was named in American Artists's special issue naming the "75 Greatest Artists of All Time," and was hailed as one of the "25 Artists of Tomorrow," in an article praising his work and celebrating his potential. And if that weren't exciting enough, the following year, Mann appeared on both the July and December 2012 covers of American Art Collector! Congratulations, Jeremy! We couldn't be more thrilled about your continuing success.
We are thrilled to exhibit Elizabeth Torak's stunning painting 'The Feast of Venus I'. This masterpiece has just arrived following a year long exhibit at the Elizabeth de C. Wilson Museum of the Southern Vermont Art Center in Manchester, Vermont. It measures a powerful 60 x 108 inches and is oil painted on Belgian Linen.

Dana Levin has won 1st prize at the 39th Annual Juried Exhibit at the New Britain Museum of American Art. One of her paintings has also become part of the museum's permanent collection: www.nbaa.org. Ms. Levin has also won the Raymond Chow Memorial Award at the American Artist Professional League's 80th Grand National Exhibition. Lastly, she will have a one person show at Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island, which is scheduled to open 4 March 2009.

Jorge Alberto has been selected as one of The Artist's Magazine's 2009 "Artist of the Month". His work, "The Martyrdom of St. Sebastian", will appear on the magazine's website, www.artistsnetwork.com, in February 2009. Mr. Alberto has also been selected to paint the portrait of Governor Marin O'Malley, the 47th Mayor of the City of Baltimore. The portrait will hang in the Hyman Pressman Board of Estimates Room at Baltimore City Hall.

Ryan Brown was recently awarded 'Best Painting of the Year -- 2008' by the prestigious Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy. The winning painting is titled, 'Portrait of Nester' and measures 30 x 40.
